Corona travels, eh?

“Fuckin’ corona sa ajad mind jooma, corona, corona, corona!” πŸ™„ Β
(In translation – “Fuckin’ corona you make me wanna drink, corona, corona, corona!” – listen here! // Virtual greetings to my awesome and talented friends Mariliis & Ollie! 😍 //)

As you might think then almost for three months no traveling at all. Nothing. No where. Only bedroom, bathroom, kitchen.. Quarantine routine much, eh. Well, alright of course some strolling around the forests has been made, but that’s kinda all..

BUT at least I managed to finally go to my home island, Saaremaa, last week, to visit my family. Wohoo! πŸ₯³ πŸ™Œ

I had never seen Kuressaare so empty as it was then.. My home island was labeled as “corona island”, after half of its population presumed to have contracted COVID-19. Unfortunately my sweet little island was the hotspot of the virus, so our country decided to not let anyone from the mainland to the island and vice versa. So for three months I wasn’t able to go home.Β

Visit to the island was very short – 3 days, but at least my home sickness was cured for a moment! One day we were at my countryside, other day we went to SΓ΅rve (my grandfather is from there), ate yummy burgers from Viking Burger, had a great walk through the city and on Sunday we celebrated Mother’s day. Oh how I had missed it all!

And also !finally! I saw my very best friends – Triin & Nete, and for a minute also Maarja. It was so great to see them finally face to face, not virtually through messenger video call. So for me it was short but happy trip to home.

Already waiting June when I can go back & we will drink some great cocktails with my dear ones and have a real conversation & fun! πŸ’•

Home is wherever you leave everything you love and never question that it will be there when you return.
