Latvia part I

Horse paintings Pullman Riga

Last weekend of summer, a couple of days before my pumpkin started school again, – II grade (ALREADY! WOW! 😭), we decided to take the time off and go to Latvia and do some fun stuff! So we had three days full of fun & games!Β πŸ₯³

I am still love in Latvia, especially Riga, as it had so big part of my life in the past two years. As we had a Showroom in Riga, then we drove back and forth (Tallinn-Riga) very often. And oh, how I miss Riga Fashion Weeks, all those cool people, and the vibes there. I have met so many great people over there – yes, all of you, who I have met over there during those two years, you are amazing & I miss you! If you are in Estonia – let me know! 😍

But this time I actually want to write about our nice weekend getaway. ✨ As I have so much to write, then I will be writing in two parts. And my first post is mostly about the hotel, we were staying in. So as we wanted to stay near the center of the city and as we also had a dog with us, then you probably can imagine that there weren’t so many choices…

We stayed inΒ Pullmann Riga Old Town Hotel – as it satisfied all our needs! Very near to the city center βœ”οΈ, pets were allowed βœ”οΈ, swimming possibility βœ”οΈ. And the hotel itself was just amazing! On the 7th floor, there was a small spa, with a sauna, for great relaxing moments. Next to the spa, there was also a small gym, where of course I straight went, as soon, as we arrived! How perfect is that combo!? In my opinion, it was a useful addition to the hotel. And there was also a terrace on the 6th floor with so cute view! 😍

Our room was also very wonderful. With a nice interior, comfy bed, and a nice backyard view. I liked the color choices throughout the hotel and the paintings over there. There were many paintings with horses and also a very big lamp with a horse. Which reminded me of one club in New York City, High Line, namedΒ Le Bain, where there was also a very big horse statue inside the club.Β πŸ˜€

The staff there was also very friendly and polite, which made us feel very welcomed. And breakfast! Oh my god! It was so yummy! There was a very big choice of different foods – starting from salads, eggs, and bacon, finishing with waffles and muffins and so much more. The only thing that they could improve, would be maybe coffee… As I am a total coffee-freak then I wasn’t impressed by their coffee. It was okay, nothing bad, but not great. Oh, and what Elsa I loved? They served prosecco there, next to fresh orange juice. Amazing weekend, and a morning with aΒ mimosa?! Perfecto! 😍

Just a small glimpse of the amazing food there was!
Time to mix some mimosas!

Overall, we had a great time over there, and I would definitely like to go back there, as we had a very good experience! Recommendation level β€“Β πŸ’―.

Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes… including you.
