August has been incredibly busy for me and it has gone by so fast! Mostly I have been with my family, improving my skills in different online courses, also I finally have my water aerobics for the knee – yay!, and I have been now more actively (finally!!!) searching for a new job. And of course, I still have some other projects I am working on at the moment, and as soon as I can, I will make a blog post about them also! ππ»
Rehabilitation in progress aka water-aerobics
So, for a week I have been visiting Magdaleena hospital rehabilitation center, for my water-aerobics lessons for my knee (Blogpost about my knee operation). And to be honest, I already feel that this has been working very well for my knee. Last month I had magnetic therapy and physiotherapy for my knee, which both were very useful. Special thanks to the amazing rehabilitation doctor Piret from ITK, who was so nice and caring! And thanks to her I was able to go cycling on the stationary bike after every magnetic lesson! ππ»
But now for a week, I have been also participating in water-aerobics, for better recovery. As you might already think, then yes, I am the only young one over there.. well at least with me the youngest woman was probably 50+ years old… π

But, on the bright side, there have been only max 4 persons and I actually feel that this is very good for my knee. I have been there with different teachers, and of course, they are doing different exercises, so it is very nice! And the greatest news for me has been that, after starting the water-aerobics, my knee hasn’t been so gentle anymore, so I am almost feeling like last year finally! π I am so happy!

There is always that one… π
But to write on the negative side. Then in this Magdaleena hospital rehabilitation center pool area, there is one very grumpy red-haired Russian lady, who is keeping eye on everything. And my three first visits, she was so rude to me and to everyone else also! π² So she probably has some anger issues… π¬π¬
The first time she was yelling at me, for not having swimming cap and flip flops – so I was apologizing, as I said that when I scheduled my time over there, no one said that I need to have them (well, okay flip flops actually are logical, but I totally forgot about them… But who has swimming caps nowadays? I mean, yes of course if you are a swimmer.. but do others still have and use them? I had mine when I was in basic school but never used it after that… π€·πΌββοΈ).
Next time she was yelling at me that I arrived too late – but the lesson actually hadn’t started. And then again she was mad as I left my one-piece on while going to the shower before the lesson – as she threw all the doors open and the teacher was a guy… And when I pointed it out she was just making some kind of weird noise through her nose π€¦πΌββοΈ
Well, my recovery sessions are now over, so it is non of my business, but I really feel sorry for the others, who still have to deal with her…

But for the positive end – I was surprised how many different recovery exercises we did! π And my knee is totally feeling so much better now! So big thanks for the instructors over there & 100% I would recommend adding water-aerobics in recovery plans! π
Recovery is a marathon, not a sprint.
